This is me – KREETTA

My name is Kreetta, a local entrepreneur-performer, singer, and songwriter. Nature-Inspired Finnish Performances & Cultural Journeys are at the heart of everything I create.

I would like to think of myself as a keeper of stories. A messenger of kindness.

My mission is to be a counterforce to all the commercial overconsumption and offer something pure and unique. In addition, sustainability is close to my heart. I’m proud to offer this intangible service, available year-round. Because I care deeply about the state of the world, I want to contribute to making the tourism industry more sustainable; I’m currently working towards my company obtaining a sustainable travel certification. With this in mind, souvenirs are not packed into your suitcase but rather into your heart.

My roots are in Pirkanmaa – Central Finland, but my heart belongs to Lapland. We moved to Rovaniemi in 2017, and as a result – I fell irrevocably in love with the nature and local way of life throughout the changing seasons.

Kreetta; Nature inspired Finnish woman, but what else? I’m a mother to two little children. Alongside my family, my deepest devotion is rooted in the pover of music, performing, and storytelling. My heart is overwhelmed with joy as I collect all of these together. I hold them close, sheltered in the folds of my grandmother’s skirt. Furthermore, I truly love to share them with you.

I come to you wearing a dress inherited from my father’s mother, one of the ~four hundred national costumes in Finland. Trough this dress, I feel a powerful connection to my roots. It feels like my grandmother spirit is watching over me from the edge of infinity, sending warm hugs to me trough the northern lights. I wish to honor the beautiful country my grandparents built and nurture my own roots.

I offer you – a small piece of authentic cultural experiences at Rovaniemi and surroundings. Nature Inspired Finnish Performances & Cultural Journeys allow me to share this connection, this story, and this heritage with you. A small piece of me and my story.

Finland is a tiny, forested country. People are raised with determination called SISU and in the quiet serenity of nature. As a result; the Finns carry in their hearts the memories of endless summer nights, the Arctic polar nights, the autumn colors, and the first buds of spring. Finnish culture is tightly woven with Finland’s nature. It is this connection to nature that has inspired me as an artist, and therefore I have allowed folk traditions to guide my creative path. In the presence of Finland’s nature and history, I feel closest to my own vitality and joy of life.
